A Multiverse of Thrills: Anticipating Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Movie Adventure!

Oscar Isaac, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, and Jason Schwartzman are among those who have joined the Oscar-winning animated series There's one casting change that Sony Pictures is keeping under the cloak of secrecy. This is the Scarlet Spider, a character that comic book lovers are likely to recognize as Peter Parker's clone Ben Reilly.

Talking to Total Film, director Joaquim Dos Santos stated, "I can't wait for people to hear who voices him. It still hasn't been released yet, but I'm awestruck by this Scarlet Spider character."

It's not outside the realm of possibility the possibility that Scarlet Spider will be used to provide Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield a voice cameo. But, it seems like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will feature an even bigger role than the person who is playing the Spider-Man clone...

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse story, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting together with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn's full-time neighborhood's friendly Spider-Man is launched across the Multiverse and is confronted by a team of Spider-People responsible for protecting the multiverse's very existence.

However, when the heroes fight over how to deal with the new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and has to rethink what is an hero to help the people he loves most.

Today is Earth Day, an annual celebration that aims to draw attention to global issues and encourage the necessary steps to preserve the planet. But, Sony Pictures Animation is making use of the occasion to promote  Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse  that takes place across multiple planets. On Twitter the official Spider-Verse Twitter account was celebrating Earth Day by releasing four new images from the film with each one highlighting a different Earth.
